"EAST MEETS WEST”
WINNERS OF CAPTION COMPETITION. Over seventy entries were received for the Chinese caption competition run in connection with the picture, “King of Chinatown,” which will open at the Regent Theatre tomorrow night. The words in the caption were “East Meets West.” The first six correct translations opened, were sent in by Miss J. Summers, 124 Renall Street; Miss M. Martel, Gordon Street, Lansdowne; D. Hayes, 78 Bannister Street; Miss A. M. Brown, 66 Essex Street; P. J. Lee, 8 Johnston Street, and M. C. Olsen, 133 Colombo Road. Many others sent in the correct answer. The successful competitors will each receive a pair of guest tickets to see “King of Chinatown.”
