INDOOR BOWLS
MASTERTON CLUB. PROGRESSIVE PAIRS. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club continued the progressive pairs tournament last week, Hendry is leading in the skips section and S. Henson in the leads. During the week the club entertained visitors from the Soldiers’ Club, and a very enjoyable time was spent. The following are the games arranged for this week: —Wednesday, 7 p.m., No. 1, H. .and 7 play M. and 10; No. 2, O. and 1G play I. and 2; 8 p.m., No. 1, A. and 3 play P. and 17; No. 2 D. and 6 play J. and 11; 9 p.m., F. and 5, play K. and 17; No. 2, E. and 4 play J and IG. Thursday —7 p.m., No. 1, I. and 8 play N. .and 11; No. 2, C. and 2, play Q. and 14, 8 p.m., No. 1, Park Ferns Challenge, Norman and Fenton (s), (holders), v Hanley and Stains (s), No. 2 B. and 1 play P. and 13; 9 p.m., No. 1; Q. and 18 play B. and 4. No. 2, D. and 3, play R. and 15. Players are reminded that they must attend all their games in this competition.
