CRIPPLED CHILDREN
LOCAL EXECUTIVE MEETING. Twenty-two cases mainly from the South Wairarapa districts were reviewed by the Executive of the Wairarapa branch of the N.Z. Crippled Children Society at their fortnightly meeting. It was reported that the Wellington Education Board had supplied a blackboard for the use of a crippled girl- . , • v Authority was giyen for a girl s teeth to be extracted and a set of dentures provided. Advice was received that a baby born with a hair lip was to be operated on shortly.
An account for a bed and mattress for a crippled girl was passed for payment. Ten new members were elected as follows:—Misses E. and H. Card, Mrs M. L. Thompson, Miss D. F. E. Junker, Sister M. T. Stewart, Messrs R. Lambert. T. E. Handcock, L. O'Neill. P. F. Fagan and W. Barrett.
