HARBOUR COLLISION
FERRY BOAT AND BARGE. NO ONE INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, May 28. A collision between the vehicular ferry boat, Combine, which was being towed by the launch Moana Isle IL, occurred in the Auckland harbour off the eastern tide deflector about 9.15 o’clock tonight. The windscreens of several motor cars on the ferry were shattered by flying pieces of wood from the broken bulwarks of the barge. Four men on the barge, which was damaged on the port bow. were thrown off their feet. The bowsprit of the barge was smashed and the bulwarks stove in, and the bow rudder of the ferry was put out of commission. Though several people were shaken, nobody was injured.
