MARTINBOROUGH HOTEL

f NEW INSTALLATION. The proprietor of the Martinborough Hotel is to be congratulated upon his initiative and enterprise in bringing to the Wairarapa one of the latest improvements that have been developed for the cooling and dispensing of beer. After a thorough investigation he has selected a Westinghouse Temprite Cooling Plant at considerable cost, similar to that which is being installed in a number of the larger hotels in New Zealand, as evidenced in the Waterloo Hotel, Wellington, and which has rendered such excellent service in many other countries. It is the first of its kind in the Wairarapa. An opportunity of looking over this new plant positively impresses one with the simplicity and the means that have been taken to make a reliable installation. The refrigeration compressor unit is one of the Westinghouse Hermetically Sealed Condensing Units, which supplies liquid refrigerant to the Temprite Cooler Heads, which are placed under the bar, and which performs the very necessary function of cooling the beer, to a suitable temperature for Martin borough. One of the main reasons for selecting this Temprite was due to the fact that the temperature is controlled within one degree, and there is positively no variation, whether there is a heavy draught or a very light draught. The beer is delivered from the cellar with the new pressure system, that obviates the necessity for bar pumps, and .which delivers the beverage in that condition which makes it most palatable. With the warm weather now coming on. Mr Fred Brough is assured of a splendid reaction from Wairarapa residents, to his endeavours to give them the best service at all times."
