AN ENJOYABLE PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) A...delightful party was givenjoy Mrs Roy Burch at her home in Tawaha last evening when members of the Home and School Association and friends spent a happy evening in games and competitions. Musical items were given by Mesdames Ingley and Burch and a dance by Mary Burch. Competitions were won by Mrs Herrick and Miss Grant. A delicious supper was served. Personal Items. Much regret is felt that Mr Walter Roper has again been forced to enter the hospital through ill-health. He is progressing favourably. Miss Jean Feist, of Hawera, is home for the Christmas vacation. Mr. and Mrs H. L. Griffiths and family left yesterday on a camping tour to Auckland. Miss Eileen Grant, of Utuwai, has been visiting her grandmother, Mrs Hibberd. The friends of Mr J. G. Mahood will be pleased to hear that he is home after having been’an inmate of a hospital in Wellington for some time. Miss Bailey, of Wellington, is visiting her 'sister, Mrs K. Arthur.
