A modern milking plant owned by Mr Smallwood, Greytown, proved of considerable interest and the beautiful grounds of the Tauherenikau Racecourse and of Mrs C. Elgar’s property “Fernside,” were greatly admired. The Southdowns and Ayrshires of Messrs Quentin and J. G. Donald, Featherston, were inspected and a visit paid to the Featherston Co-operative dairy factory. The party then proceeded via Kahautara to Martinborough and back to Masterton. GOING TO DANNEVIRKE.
