LATE CABLES.

SEEKING FRIENDS « COUNT CIANO TO VISIT WARSAW HOPES OF ITALO-POLISH ACCORD. REDRESSING THE EUROPEAN BALANCE. By Telegraph—Press Assn., Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, April 3. The “Sunday Times” says Count Ciano (Italian Foreign Minister) is going to Warsaw on April 22 to return the visit made to Rome by Colonel J. Beck (Polish Foreign Minister). It is believed that Count Ciano is aiming at an Italo-Polish rapprochment which, like the Italo-British, is designed to redress the balance in Central Europe, now weighted in Germany’s favour by the Austro-German union. France supports both the Italo-British and Italo-Polish talks.
