INDOOR BOWLING
MASTERTON CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. The seventh annual meeting of the Masterton Indoor Bowling Club was held at the Foresters’ Hall on Thursday last there being a large attendance of members, who were enthusiastic over the prospects for the coming season.
The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr W. H. Edwards (re-elected); vice-president, Mr W. Lewis; hon secretary and treasurer, Mr C. A. Leigh; committee, Messrs Pickering, Stains, Kennard and Finlayson. ’■
It was decided to open the-season, with a social on Wednesday, April 20, at 7.30 p.m., to which all old and new members are invited. Members should hand in their names immediately to any of the club’s officers to enable the committee to draw up the teams.
