Jackson, Amos. Emergencies—C Udy, G Homphsies, and G Coleman. The Wairarapa representatives play Wellington at Newtown Park tomorrow, when Wellington should win, as the Wairarapa team is a very weak one, the selection having caused general dissatisfaction. Beard Bros., Whatman, E Udy, and Welch being the only forwards up to Representative form, and the full back, D’Arcy, is too young and inexperienced for such a responsible position.
Tomorrow tbo first match this season between the Wairarapa and Wellington Rugby Union representatives will be played. The Match Committee have chosen the following to play for Weilingtou :—Full Back, J W Kiluer ; three-quarters, D Gage, H Moorhouse, and G Cooper ; halves, 0 Richardson, A Merlet; forwards, W Bock, S Cookroft, T Ellison, J M King, H MTutyre, A Reader, L Storey, R Taiaroa, and J E Wales.
