Sir, — Mr Bnnnyin his address to the Pea* tberston electors, when replying to questions asked by Mr W E Bidwill, took exception and adversely commented on a letter sent by that gentleman to your journal, touching the action ol some of Mr Bonny's supporters in circulating statement, that they had (Bidwill 8r05.,) discharged a man named Brodison because he declined to vote lor Buchanan. He, Mr Bnnny, also intimated that the Bidwill Bros, were oocreeing or intimidating their employees into voting the way they desired* Being one ol the employees on the Messrs Bidwill’s station, I take exception to such unjust and uncalled lor imputations, as not only being an unjust slur on the character ol my worthy employers, but also on every employee in their employ. I therefore positively deny that there baa been the slightest at* tempt at intimidation, or burking in any way the Ireest discussion on the political merits ol either candidate, nor have I been asked bow I intended to vote.
