Consistent, or Inconsistent ?

Now, Is it not very inconsistent for Mr Bonny to talk as be does about " bursting big estates ’’ and yet be run into Parliament by one of these big proprietors f Will ha boret up Mr Biddilord, if he gets a chance. Again, Mr Bunny got almost savage with Mr Bidwill last week at the meeting, and im* plied that Mr Bidwill tried to influence his men how to vote. And yet we bear that all the men on a certain large ronholder's estate are to be brought np to vote tor Mr Bunny. Then Mr Bunny has suddenly gone over to the teetotallers, and he is so charmed with the benefits of total abstinence that he has promised them that be will do his best to further Local Option, by which two-thirds of the householders in a district can shut op ail the public houses it they like. Will Mr Bunny deny this * lam happy to say that upon this point there is a division of opinion and the majority of the temperance party while anxious to get their oanee represented in Parliament, think that Mr Bunny is the last man to deal with the Temperance Question.
