At a meeting of the Grey town Borrwglt Ooancil on Monday night, it was resolved that a fire bell be ordered from Meeara and Co., and that the Council take steps » support the views of the New Borough Council re ameudmont of HoapUnW and Charitable Aid Act. . The reports ot the Finance and WeaM Committee’s were adopted. The latter re* commending ecoeptancec of tender* K* metalling the various road* in the Borongh. Borough. The Clerk wes instructed to give notiee to Mr Grigg, to fence the section in hi* oooupation. . . The certified balance sheet was read ana ordered to be printed. The matter of licensing slaughter booses was allowed to stand over for one month.
