That School Committee.

Tu the Editor of the Standard. Sir.— As a spectator of last Friday's meeting, I was somewhat surprised at the conduct of two or three members of the school committe-' and think that the sooner the committee resign, the better for themselves and the householders of Greytown. I do not for a moment attempt to shield the chairman, because, in the first place, he was rather bumptious, and, I think, that if the rest of the members had a little of his effrontery they would be a far happier party. But when men go *o far as to ask questions, and cast imputations of the kind which they did last Friday night, then, I say, they are no longer fit to act as committee-men Suppose that some of the school children were at the meeting, and heard the “sweet talk 1 of the committee, what would they do the next time they went to school ?
