Bia, —I hear that in an article in your issue of last week, in commenting on what 1 ■aid at the Theatre, Maaterton, you consider that I have completely endorsed Mr Baliance’s Village Settlement Scheme Allow me to correct ibis impression in yonr columns. I have no where expressed anv opinion favorable or adverse to the Village Settlements, and my attention having been called to an article in the New Zealand Times of the Btb, on the subject I wrote to the editor on the (abject on the Uth, which I doubt not he will do me the favor to insert in an early imus.
