To the Editor of the Standard. fia, — A Bit is the opinion of a number of working men in the South Wairarapa district that a limited form of Protection is, at the present time, absolutely necessary to protect our local industries and keep tne working classes from mere serfdom and working for starvation wages, I think, if a candidate camo forward -OpOfli that ticket, he would get good rapport It is all very well for the big mao to advocate Freetrade. It suits him to a T, , I am, 4c., Working Man.
