Disastrous Earthquake In Central Asia.
London, 10th June. Is ews is to hand from Russian Turkestan that a disastrous earthquake occurred yesterday at Veruoc, a town of 12,000 inhabitants situated on the northern slope of ihe Ala Tan Mountains. Most of the public buildings and houses were totally destroyed, and fully 120 ]iersous iicrished in the ruins, and many others suffered serious injuries.
