A Jubilee Parade.
To tlic Editor of the Standard. Bib,— l bear, and I trust it is not true, that Major |Bnnny has been asked to order a general parade of the Volunteers at Carterton on Jubilee day. I hope the Major will do no snob a foolish thing but will allow the Voluu* teers to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee in any way they may think fit. I take it that Jubilee day is one appointed lor rejoicing, not lor strict discipline. 1 am, & 0., Volunteer
