Wreck of Two Steamers at Napier.
SEVERAL LIVES LOST. The steamers Go Ahead and Sir Donald have been wrecked at Napier, and several lives lost. The Go-Ahead went on shore at Gape Kidnapper at '/■ am on Friday and is bow a total wreck. One tireman, named James Gunning, who would not leave the ship, was drowned. It is said that if there had been a light on the Kidnappers the disaster would not have happened. The Sir Donald steamer belonging to Napier, went ashore five miles north of Gisborne, and it is (eared all lives are lost.
