The Government do nothing but formulate schemes, the only purpose seemingly heiug to seek the opinions of the delegates. April 16, In the House of Commons last night the debate on the Irish Crimes Bill was resumed. In the course of a speech in support of the measure, Colonel Saunderson, Conservative member for North Armagh, denounced the Paruellites as the associates of known murderers. Mr Thomas Healy thereupon called Colonel Saunderson a liar. He was called upon 0y the Speaker to withdraw, and refusing to do so, was suspended fiom the sitting of the House by 118 to 52 votes. Mr Thomas Sexton then demanded that Colonel Saunderson should retract his statement, and denounced him as a “ cowardly liar.” Ultimately both Mr Sexton and Colonel Saunderson retracted and order was restored. April 17. The American Nihilists have denounced Pre'ident Cleveland’s extradition treaty. It is reported that a number of them have announced their readiness to kill the Czar. Australian beef tallow is 6d lower, 23s ; mutton tallow. Is lower, 24s 6d. The wool market continues firm. It is rumored that General Komaroff, the Russian commander in Turkestan, has telegraphed for reinforcements, and is actively preparing to conduct an Afghan war.
