To the Editor of the Slumlord. Sin, — With all due difference to the Rev Mr Ward in regard to the late fire at dr Roys’residence, i, i ’ik a little more praise was due to some others. For had it not .been for the promplness of the Rev Mr Porritt and his able assistant Mr '.'ox, wmi ihe help of other willing hands, it is more than probable tne house would have her t a mass oi ruins in a very slant lime.
