Taxation in England.
London, March 22. An influential deputation, consisting of 100 Tory members, waited on Mr Qoschen asking him, in view of tha depression in farming interests, to make provision in the forthcoming Budget for granting relief to those following agricultural pursuits. In reply, Mr Qoschen said it was hi* opinion that the lime had arrived i| when it was desirable to review the incidence of taxation generally throughout the United Kingdom, not with the object of remitting any of the taxes, but with the view to bring about a redistribution, so that personal property should be made to contribute more than at present ; and be considers there should also be a change made in the local taxation.
