NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the above Board to be held on MONDAY, 7th February next, it is proposed to pass the following special orders, viz 1. That sub district 6 of the Featherston Road District, and the White Rock Station, containing 19,000 acres, and the Whaterangi Station, containing 27,000 acres, be a Special Bating District, for the purposes ot the “ Local Bodies Loan Act, 1886,” and that a Special Rate of threesixteenths (3‘l6tbs) of a penny in the £ be levied in such district for the repayment of the proposed loan of £2OOO for a bridge over the Rnamahunga River at Bahaatara. 2. That sub district 5 of the Featherston Road District be a special rating district for the purposes of the “ Local Bodies Loans Act, 1886,” and that a special rate of onesixteenth of a penny in the £ be levied in such district for the repayment of proposed loan of £SOO for the formation, <fec., of certain roads in such sub district. Read, D. Cameron, W. and D. Sutherland's Estate, A. Douglas, D. and P. McLaren, Wra McLaren and Jno. Tully, and the properties in the Awbea Riding, occupied respectively by Jno. Tully, Jno. Cameron, Wm McLaren and Peter McLaren, as they are described in the Assessment Roll now in force under the numbers following respectively, W /95, 20,22, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, and W /100, 2, 16,18, 19 to wit.

Yennell, as they are described in the Assessment Roll now in force under the numbers following respectively, W 94/ 561, 565, 566, 567, 568, 576, together with a portion of the property occupied by W. 0. Buchanan numbered in Assess, ment Roll, W 94/542 to wit, 500 acres being part of Mungaraki Block and parts of sections 59 and 01 and the whole of sec. tions 41, 42, 55, 57, 58 (in all about 1920 acres. WAIRARAPA PASTORAL AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. THE ANNUAL RAM AND EWE FAIR WILL BE HELD OS THE SHOW UROUNDS, CARTERTON, os TUESDAY, 15th FEBRUARY, 1887. Stewards in charge—Messrs Dorset, Bralthwaite, and Reynolds. MIE SALE OF RAMS will commence at X 11 a.m. sharp, and that of EWES after the termination of the former. The Stewards have authority if necessary, to postpone the sale of ewes to the following day. Entrance Fees for Rams : Is per head np to five, and 6J per head for all over that number. Entrance Fees for Ewes ; 2s per score up to 100, and Is per score for all over that number. Entries accompanied by the fees must be lodged with the undersigned at Carterton on nr before THURSDAY, the 10th day of February, 1887, at NOON, and in order that sufficient yarding accommodation may be provided and correct catalogues prepared, it should be stated on the entry 1. If rams are to be sold singly or in lots of two, five, or ten, or otherwise. In the case of ewes whether to he sold in single scores or otherwise. 2. The breeds and ages of (be sheep. 3.
