Trial of Caffrey and Penn.
At Auckland all attention is directed to the men charged with murdering Taylor at the Great Barrier. Grace Graham's evidence was of a very incriminating kind, showing that the murder was fully planned beforehand. 1 ne intention was to abduct Taylor s daughs ter ami maim the old man, and if he prevented them carrying out their design he was to be murdered.
