Marriage Ceremony.

Tl;e marriage of Mr William Hammoricb, one of Greytown’s well known residents, willi Miss Daisy Smith, took place at St Luke’s Cuurch this morning, and attracted a large number of friends. The bride looked charming in her di.>se of cream satin and nun’s veiling, trimmed with deep cream lace, and the usual tulle veil and bridal wreath. The wedding dress was much admired for its rich. ness and beauty. Alias Govey and Miss Kva Nation attended as bridesmaids, and wore attired in becoming cream and white dresses, with pale blue sashes and hats to match. The ceremony was performed by the Rev Air Western, and the musical accompaniment was exquisitely played by Airs Knell. The contracting parties having retired to (he vestry after the ceremony, the spectators passed out of the Church and gathered on either side of the pathway leading to the waiting conveyances, and sprinkled rice upon the happy pair. The wedding party were then driven to Mr Unnnuerich's residence, where a large company of ladies and gentlemen graced the wedding breakfast, and passed a most enjoyable hour. Mr and Mrs Hammerich intend going to Wellington this afternoon.
