Greytown Bazaar.

Another success was scored by the Greytown Wesleyans in the bazaar on Wednesday last. Mr i)'. H. Wood kindly placed his auction room at their disposal for the occasion, and so well was everything arranged that there was a large space for the purchasers to promenade. Of these there were many, a large number of whom were members of the English Church. All seemed so interested that one could scarcely tell which was which. There were lour fancy goods stalls. The first was presided over by Mrs Jones, Miss Collier and Miss Mills. The second by Mrs T. A. Weston, and the Misses Baillie and N. MoMaster. The third by Mrs Neilson, Mrs H. Robinson and Miss Eokley, and the fourth by Mrs Heagerty. The refreshment stall was in charge of the Misses Wilkie, Hawke, and P. Mills. The Christmas Tree the Misses McMaster took charge of; the prettily arranged flower stall was worked by Miss Hettie Bollard and her sisters. The bran pie was served by the Misses Hobman and Terry, and the handle of the magic well was turned by Miss Fanny Hollard. Mis C. B. Gamble acted as manager, and she did it well; she seemed to be here, there, and everywhere. There was not a bitch of any kind during the whole of the day. The articles were mostly small in value, but there was a constant sale of them; and when a little after ten o’clock it was announced that the day’s takings footed up to £26, more than was raised by the sale last year, all were delighted.
