To the Editor of the Standard, Sir,— Have the Greytown Botongh Council no kerosene wherewith to light the street lamps. If they have ran out, or have no funds available for the purpose of purchasing the much needed lighting article, perhaps some of our local storekeepers will give them tick. At it is, our streets on these dark nights are gloomy and unsafe, and the general enquiry is 11 Where are the lamps ?” lours &0., Pun Boo&
