London, November 13. Obituary—W. Calder Marshall, R.A„ sculptor; aged 73.

A Protectionist demonstration took place in Sydney yesterday, several thousands persons joining in the procession. Colonial manufactures were exhibited ou an extensive scale. The procession paraded through the principal streets, and at the Domain addresses were delivered, pointing out the benefits to be derived from Protection.
