Greytown Fire Brigade.

The adjonrned meeting of the Oreytown Volunteer Fire Brigade was held at tbe bead quarters on Friday night. Present—Captain Maguire (chairman), Lieut Bowen, lob-Lient Phillips, Branohman Humphries, and Firemen Quin, W. Humphries, J. Boydhous, J. Lewis, and F. Muir, see. The Secretary reported having received the ■urn of one guinea from Mr Caselberg, bon members’ fee.

A lew small accounts were passed lor payment.

It was resolved that Mr Higgins be asked to collect hon members' Ism at 10 par cant, commission.

The Secretary reported having received from the United Fire Brigades’ Association a list of subscriptions received on behalf ol the unfortunate ex-Oaptain King, and it will be seen by the following list that the firemen have responded in a substantial manner to the call of the Association on behalf of their afflicted comradelnvercargill F.B.
