Wool Sale in Christchurch

Tbe Mew Zealand Loan and Mercaotile Agency Company report tbeir opening wool sale of tbe season to-day. There was a good attendance of buyers, with spirited oompetU tioo, and moat satisfactory prices ware secured. *94 bales were brought forward, of which 781 found buyers at up to 10 jd for greasy halt* bred, and 9d for merino and crossbred. Scoured crossbred made 13d, half bred 18d, merino 17fd. Tbe wools generally were light and in good condition.
