Messrs B Goldsborongb and Co. held theirusual weekly wool sale this afternoon to a large attendance of Home aud foreign buyers, competition being animated. 8500 bales wen offered, ol which 3000 were sold. Superior greasy wool sold up to Is pet lb, and good washed fleece realised 1 s 7Jd, The Manager of the National Mortgage and Ageuoy Company of New Zealand reporte as follows of the local maiket :—Wheat ie difficult of sale, e»an at a alight reduction, os to 5s Id; barley shows no improvement, 3s 9d to 4s 3d. Oats, feed aorta, for which there is e moderate inquiry, are selling at from 3a to 3s Sd. The demand for oate, milling sorts, ie irregular, Bs 8d to 3s id. New Zealand oate, oadar bond, 3a id bo la 3d.
