Those Fowl Perches.

To the Editor of the Standard.

Sin, —Father takes your paper, and I like to read it and we have such laughs at those letters about the perches for the fowls. I told father that there was one mar our school ami that tiie name of the street was spoiled wrong. He said I could write a letter to you so that the Borough Couucit should know about the mistake, because the people would think the Council did not know bow to spell if it was left that way. The name •• Great Frederick Street " lias a letter left out aud one boy said that the third standard could spell better in the school than those men in the Council. Some of us boys are going round the town to see if there are any more perches with bad spelling on them. Father said they ought to put on that perch by the school " Spelling taught here." I am, &c , A Litxlk Bcy.
