The debate on the District Railways Committee's report began in the House of Rep resentatives on 'Wednesday afternoon. We have read the whole of the evidence given before the and have come to the conclusion" that their strong condemnation of the conduct of Major Steward and Sir Julius Vogel was absolutely justified by the facts of the case.
