Buggy Accident near Steven’s Mill.

Yesterday afternoon, while Mrs Batoheloij wife of the Rev Mr Batchelor, Church o* England minister, at Carterton, was proceed' ing home in a baggy accompanied by her four children, Mrs W. Carter and Mias Hnghen, the horse after crossing the bridge near tbs mill, shied at a carrier’s black tilted cart, and ran back capsizing the vehicle, and throwing the occupants into the ditch. Mr Stevens, who saw the occurrence, ran to their assistance, bat oonld not get in time to save the accident. The shafts of the baggy were broken, hat the passengers all escaped unhurt, and were taken home by Mrs Stevens in her buggy.
