Prices of Wool and Produce.

The advance in the price of wool continues to be fully maintained. The latest sales show that satisfactory prices were obtained, that foreign and Home buyers were making considerable purchases, and that the future prospects of the market were very good. The frozen meat market also shows a revival. New Zealand mutton has slightly improved in value, and realised 5Jd per lb in the Smithfield market. It is not improbable that 6d per lb will presently be realised. The prices of wheat and farm produce also show an improving tendency. All this is cheerful and encouraging news, and it is to bo hoped that a long period of better prices for wool and produce has now set in.
