There was a long debate as towbethar tha Clerk of the Legislative Council should be compelled to give evidence connected with tbe expenditure of the Council before a select committee, the clerk having refused to afford any information. Tbe discntsion was adjourned. The Counties Bill was farther eon* sidered in Committee, end the House rose ah 12 30.
