The New Club Hotel, Greytown.

The plans of the Club Hotel which we have inspected, indicate an imposing structure which, when completed, would be an ornament to any city in the colony. The hotel has a frontage to the main street of 60 feet, and a depth of 66 '.feet to a new road with footpath, which will be made by Mr Fabian. Tbe front shows a fine bold face 85 feet high, ornamented corners and pilasters, with large turned ornaments on top of building. Thirteen la;ge and handsome windows light np tbe front. On (be ground floor a large entrance door opens into a spacious hall, 28x19, on tbe left t>f which are the commercial and dining rooms, each measuring 23x14. The partition between these 190 ms, being made in panels and removable, both rooms can be thrown into one for any special purpose, making a grand room of 28x24, On the right of hall is the bar parlor, private parlor, and serving openings from bar. Leading along the ball we find entrance to billiard room which is a large and lofty room, 23x26. Tht billiard room has also an entrance from tin side street. At back of dining room is the kitchen scnllery, two bedrooms and storeroom. At the corner, entrance is found to the bar, which is 16x16, and will be fitted up iu firs' ciasa style. The first floor is reached by t handsome staircase from the ball to the land ing, which is lighted by two large stained glass windows. On the first floor there are suite) of rooms for private families and a large number of bedrooms, bath room fitted U) with hot, cold, and shower baths and othei conveniences. The pallors on first floor, commercial room and parlors on ground flooi will be fitted with electric bells, the indicatoi being placed in tbe hall. Immediate to tin billiard room is to be erected a large and well fitted sample 100 m for commercial gentlemen, having an entrance from the side street. At the rear of the hotel there is to be erected large and commcdiom stabling containing 10 stalls, harness room, groom’s room, and eight loose boxes, baggy sbeds and all necessary conveniences. The whole making a compact hotel premise] equal to any to be found in the large centres of population. Mr Gray, the contractor, has commenced work, and the proprietor can depend on having the work carried ont in a first class manner by such able bands.
