Football.
Tbe team picked to represent the Greytown Football Clnb in the match with the Wellington Football Club may he considered a good one, and with a little luck should make a good etand, even against such opponents. Although not so strong as former Greytown teams, many old players are included, and amongst the younger ones A. Udy and Boydhouse are doing pood work behind the sciimmagcß, and with a little judgment in passing to the full back should be very damaging. Both collar, run, and back well. and E. Udy and G. Humphries are playing a good forward game. Special praise should be given to Webster for hit plucky hard forward play, and for his passing, which it would be well for some of the others to imitate.
It is 'to be regretted that the Wellington Football Club is now unable to bring a second team, as was intended. Arrangements are, however, being made to get a Masterton or Carterton team to play tbe Greytown second here on Easter Monday. Both teams are reminded that they are wanted on the ground at 1 o'clock sharp, and also that a scratch match—lst Backs and Hod Forwards v 2nd Backs and Ist Forward* will take place on Saturday.
