Terrible Tragedy at Auckland.

At Auckland on Friday, a young girl named Emily Keeling, aged 17, while returning home from work was met by Edward Fuller, aged 26, and shot through the breast. The young man had been persistent in his addresses to Miss Keeling, but she gave him no encouragement. He then wrote letters threatening to shoot her unless she yielded. Ou Friday evening he met her. What conversation passed is not known, bat after a few moments he seized her by the arm and fired two shots from a revolver. The actual tiring was not seen by any one, but the reports were heard by several persons. The bullets entered her breast, and she was only able to run across the road, when she fell. Medical assistance was sent for, bnt she died in half an hour. After the deed Fuller ran down Brisbane street, and at the corner be tnrned and deliberately shot himself through the mouth, and fell dead instantaneously. From letters found since it appears that the girl was fond of Fuller bat the parents objected to the match. Fuller wrote a letter stating his design and left it at his house.
