Some twelve months since the woolshod and its contents belonging to Mr McLachlan at Gladstone was destroyed by fire. Wo have now to chronicle the burning down ot Messrs Grant Brothers’woolshed, containing a valuable woolpress and 23 bales ot wool in the same locality. Mr J. Grant got through the window, hut owing to the tieice heat had to g" o ! ck, not, however, without being severely burnt about the right leg. The shed was insured, hut there is a doubt about the wool.
