Melancholy Boating Accident.

TWO BOYS DROWNED. A melancholy boating accident happened at Havelock on Friday. Six boyi, aged from 17 to 6 years, went cat fishing. When returning home under sail, the boat was allowed to jibe, and oapaized, throwing all the occupants into the water. With some difficulty, all got hold ot the beat, but were several times rolled off- After a time two of the boys, Charles and Herbert Rutherford, aged 13 and 11 reepeotively, disappeared, and were eeen no more. The remaining four boye were reecued when almogt exhausted by a passing boat Charles Matthews, aged 18, appears to have saved his little^brother, aged five, in a very commendable way, by keeping him out of the water on his back until assistance arrived lu this he waa assisted by James Bntherford, a brother of the lads drowned.
