A Warning.
To the Editor of the Standard. Sir,— Fires are now alight everywhere. At present they are in the bush ; but any night a fire may break out in the townships. Are the brigades prepared ? Have the wells been seen to ? Is every thing ready when the fire belle sound the alarm. Be ready, I am, Ac.. Firs Dixon.
