The Maeterton Presbyterian Church is to be enlarged. An incident Worth noting in connection with the new stamp fees has just come under the notice of the Woodville Examiner. A Woodville gentleman who was having a property transferred had intended going before a postmaster to have the agreement signed but decided to leave it till nest morning, when he found that he bad to pay £9 15s mere in duty under the new regulations than he would have had to pay under the old, had Jie signed the previous day.
