Wool for Colonial and Indian Exhibition.

A circular issued by the New Zealand Commission in connection with the Colonial and Indian Exhibition to be held in London in I*'*!, states that in order to exhibit fully the quality and peculiar character of the different classes of wool grown in the Colony, it is proposed that a given number of fleece* of each das* (aa per Schedule annexed) shall be shown from the various districts of the Colony. 1. Each Exhibit is to be forwarded to the nearest depot, with a full description of its origin and breeding. Further information has to be added as to the nature or kind of country and whether fed on English grass, turnips, or native feed. 2. The various parcels will be trimmed, arranged, and packed uniformly for Loudon,’ after their arrival in Lyttelton. 3. Of soma of the fleeces, a small portion will be exhinited as eampie of the staple, and another portion will be shown in a scoured condition. ■l. Exhibitors are requested not to trim the fleeces themselves, but to toll them in the usual way and pack them in a safe manner. 6. In selecting fleeces for exhibition, it is desirable that they should be as aear as possible of twelve months’ growth, of sound and Hear staple, and free from ticks, stain or seeds. 6, Exhibitors are requested (o follow
