Death of M r George Greathead.

Mr Groatbead, sen., well known in all parts of the Wairarapa, accidently poisoned himself last night by taking a certain linament he had been using for his back in mistake. The old gentleman had some rum in a bottle very similar to that in which the linament was contained, and by mistake he pat took of a nip of the linament poison. Tho deceased lingered for about a hour and a half and then died, It may be mentioned that Dr Smith was in attendance and administered the usual emetics but without avail. He died at about 11.30 p.m. His age was 12.
