The Session.
The Premier stated in the House on Wednesday night that the Government hoped to close the session of Parliament this week. It is, however, deemed more probable that the prorogation will take place on Monday or Tuesday next. Meanwhile members are making active preparations for departure, and are endeavoring to have the Southern steamer which should leave next Monday, despatched a day earlier.
