TVTOTIOE is hereby given that the i-i Council of the County of Wairarapa West, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the provisions of ‘‘ The Public Works Act, 1876, Amendment Act, 1878, (section 29), intends to make the following special order : “ That Messrs Udy and Gallon of Matarawa, sawmillers,;be authorised to construct and work a tramway along and across a certain road in Subdivision No. s'of the TaratahiCarterton Road .District, known as Moffat’s Line.” A plan or tracing of the said proposed tramway has been deposited, and may be inspected ai the Council Chambers, Carterton, and any objection against the passing of such special order must be made in writing, and left at the Council Chambers aforesaid, on or before FRIDA'', t; 13th day of March, 1885.
