Law and Gospel.
Eight members of the Salvation Army, have been figuring in the Blenheim police court, for obstructing the market place with open air meetings, and causing an annoyance with a big drum and other instruments of torture. The defendants, when they entered the court fell upon their knees and prayed. After hearing evidence tbe Bench dismissed the case. Mr Baker, the secretary of tbe Army, who resides in Wellington, made it very lively with the big drum, and he, too, was summoned, but the case does not come on till Monday next.
