Magistrate’s Court.
GHEYTOWN-TUESDAY. Before the Resident Magistrate and 8. Revans, J.P. Four boys were charged with an offence at the pump at the Greytown School, two other boys being brought forward as witnesses. The accused were cautioned and discharged. Robert Bolton was charged with indecent exposure at Ksitara, upon the information of Constable Eocleton. Sentenced to fourteen hours. Wilson and Richardson vJ. Hume. Claim L 59 3s 9d. Mr A. Gray appeared for the claimant, Geo. Pain, who held a bill of sale ; Mr Kirk appeared for the judgment creditors. The Court gave judgment in favor of the claimant (Pain) with costs. Mr Kirk (for judgment creditors) gave notice of appeal. CARTERTON—TUESDAY Before the R.M. and B. Boys, J.P. Police vW. Bishop. Sunday trading. E. Jones gave evidence to the effect that he and a man named Taylor had four drinks at the White Hart Hotel on Sunday afternoon, 4th. Pined L2 and costs, J. Burrow vJ. Hume. Claim L 35 for six months interest, Mr Beard for plaintiff. The defendant, mistaking the day of the Court’s sitting, was not present, and judgment was given for amount claimed and 30s cost.
