WAIRARAPA RIDDING.
A supplement to the New Zeeland Osset te published on Tuesday, contain* the proclamation dividing the counties into riding and fixing the number of councillors for each. We give below the boundaries of the ridings of Wafrarap* West and East. Surely then must be some mistake with regard to the number of counsellors for the Oseytown riding. A riding which extends from the Waio*T* Pnimuhsngs rinr.tr flu ssstiru shore of the Wainrapa lake, by the eentzs e f the Tanherenikaa river to its source, and the boundary of the Hutt county. Tet them is in one sense no mistake es the total number of oonnoellor* allowed by law has been apportioned to Wainrapa West. la them no meansof ascertaining by whose advise this unjust apportionment has been mads. The number of counsellors apportioned to each riding is as follow*;—Wainrapa West county: Alfred ton, one; Maaterton, two; Carterton, two; Graytaam, ana; Fnatharston, tyo; and Otsraia. one.—Wairarapa East County: Gastlepoint, three; Wainnioro, three; and Awbea, two.
